[Zope-CMF] Problems upgrading to plone 1.0 RC1

When trying to upgrade from beta3 to 1.0 rc1 using "portal_migration" tool, as 
stated in the docs, I get this message:

Attempting to upgrade from: 1.0beta3
Upgrade to: 1.0rc1, completed
Attempting to upgrade from: 1.0rc1
End of upgrade path
PROBLEM: The uppgrade path did NOT reach current version
Migration has failed

After this, portal_migration says:

--------------------------------------
Instance version: 1.0rc1
File system version: 1.0RC1

Your Plone instance is out of date. Click here to migrate to the latest 
version. 
....
--------------------------------------


What's happening here?
