[Zope-CMF] CMFBackTalk - does it work?

I've downloaded this product, and read all the warnings about it being 
buggy and not ready for production.

Having said that, I hope somene can provide some enlightenment.

I installed the product, created a book, created a BackTalk Document 
within the book, and added a few paragraphs.  But it seems I cannot 
add backtalk comments to the document.  I've verified that 
permit_comments is set, and that I have permissions to add comments.

Is the simply a reflection of the state of the product? Or am I 
(hopefully) doing something wrong?
