[Zope-CMF] Query Objects and Extending CMFTopic

Hello All,

I've run into a spot where I'd like to use a query object to query a CMF 
catalog. After looking around I'm either going to use CMFTopic, or roll 
my own if that fails. I've searched the lists and seen very little 
regarding CMFTopic. Anyone have any words of warning/wisdom before I try 
to hack out a new type of CMFTopic criterion? (specifically, I want to 
search modification dates by quarter)
