Yes there is. For source references, look in ZTUtils.Zope,
ZTUtils.SimpleTree, and ZTUtils.Tree (ZTUtils can be found in your Zope
software instalation/lib/python). The CMFDiscussion item uses the tree to
build the repies tree. You can look at examples on how that is done in your
CMF installation/CMFDefault/skins/zpt_generic. See talkback_tree.py,
setup_talkback_tree.py and viewThreadsAtBottom.pt (which is used in like the
document_view.pt).
