[Zope-CMF] XUF login problem - portal url hangs

Hi -

I created a portal at the ZMI root.I added an XUF
(extended user folder) object and added users (using
the Zope database).

Now when I load the portal URL
(http://localhost:8080/Portal_Name) for the first
time, both IE 5.5 and NN 6 hang. The login prompt
never comes up and the page hangs.

On the other hand, if I log in as root into ZMI and
then log out, entering into the portal subsequently
through the same window is no problem. The login
prompt comes up and I can log in as any user contained
in the XUF object I created inside the portal folder.

Any updates on this kind of a problem?
