[Zope-CMF] RAMCacheManager extensions

I am toying with the idea of extending RAMCacheManager to use the value of a
set of TALES expressions in setting the cache index.  For example, I have
pages that are rendered differently depending on a user's roles -- it would
be nice to be able to cache based on, say, an is_member or is_manager
variable that is computed from the request rather than on the actual user.

Does anyone have any suggestions / pointers / ideas before I start hacking?
