this is easier for me to understand...

##parameters=pType,alphaBy

objects = context.contentValues(filter={'portal_type':pType})

sequence.sort(raw_items, ((alphaBy, 'cmp', 'asc'),))

return objects
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

...and works just as well!
