[Zope-CMF] Trouble with add to favorites

Hi,

I am having a local file system object in my CMF portal. When I try to
add any of the subfolders under the LFS as favorites, I am prompted for
a user id & passwd and nothing works after that. Adding the root LFS
object as favorite is working fine though. What can be done to succeed
in my requirement? Please help. Thank you.
