I agree html2safehtml could be used instead of scrubHTML. And in general 
it's a Good Thing to build on top of existing solutions.

But
- You can do this easily yourself by customizing document_edit and
     newsitem_edit.
- The bug I want to resolve is also in html2safehtml and for scrubHTML
     there's already a patch.
- 6 months ago Tres decided to write scrubHTML. I'm sure he had good
     reasons to do that.
