[Zope-CMF] DEV: TypeInformation changes

I would like to merge the new integration branch,
'tseaver-ti_apb_redux-branch', the the CVS head, after incorporating
feedback from Yuppie and Dieter Maurer.  Before I do, is there anybody
out there who objects?  This merge is part of preparing for a CMF 1.4
alpha release;  I really want to get the changes tested "in the wild"
before that release.
