[Zope-CMF] Syndication of news and events

I'm trying to figure out how to solve a problem. Maybe you want to
know about it too?  :-)

There's CMFSin to get other sites' news. The news are stored in ZODB
by some Zope magic. I'd like to store news from a certain channel in
the same ZCatalog as my zope site's news. I don't think that is
that hard to achieve. Would that be something to include for the official
version of CMFSin?

I'd like something similar for events. Should CMFSin be able to get
events too or should that be another product? Maybe there already
is such a product?
