[Zope-CMF] CMF Default & Plone play well together?

As you can see from the installation procedures -- unless you use one of 
the automatic installers -- Plone touches nothing else. It does tend to 
require specific versions of CMF, though, which may be a problem 
depending on what you're already running.

The CMF invloves a lot of new machinery, like the skins tool, and the 
default Plone templates are probably more complex than what you're 
lookig at in comparison, so this is not surprising. I think you'll find 
CMFDefault faster than Plone but only slightly so.
