[Zope-CMF] WebDAV weirdness

Zope 2.7.0/Python 2.3.2/Linux
CMF 1.4.4

Users are editing files over WebDAV with Dreamweaver MX 2004 on Windows. 
One specific user is now having a very strange side effect: Portal 
Folders and Documents are getting created in the root of the CMF site 
that mirror folders (not portal folders) and page templates that she is 
working on in other parts of the site. So far it hasn't caused any 
damage, but it's very troublesome, especially since this just started 
happening a few days before launching the site in production.

I haven't a clue as to what's going on--it could be a Dreamweaver bug.

I'd love to hear any ideas.
