Chris, ZC maintains DCWorkflow (myself in particular), so the direction 
DCWorkflow takes is our choice.  We can't discuss everything on a 
mailing list.  You'll probably be happy with the stuff we intend to make 
available as open source, but for now you can only see the side effects.
