[Zope-CMF] CMF 1.5 does not use DateIndexes

Is there reason why CMF still uses FieldIndexes for date fields? The reason 
why I am asking is that
three requests from customers of mine which long running queries (20 
seconds for a catalog with
10K objects). In every case the issue could be resolved by replacing 
FieldIndexes with Date(Range)Indexes.
So they should be used by default a avoid unnecessary trouble.
