[Zope-CMF] Getting i18n to fire

Well. It works for me. Do you have registrations like these in your product?

   <i18n:registerTranslations directory="locales"/>
   <configure package="zope.app.locales">
     <i18n:registerTranslations directory="."/>
   </configure>
