Tres stepped up to the plate to explain the vetting needs to be done for CMF
features, I'll address this one because it's a "core" change.

First, I think this is a valuable feature.  I suggest that you actually make
this feature work in a sandbox checkout on a branch (chrisw-zeowait-branch).
We could consider this a prototype.

When you're done, we'll need to assess whether the changes required to docs
and interfaces is worth putting the changes in to the core.  You should
lobby the core team (coreteam@zope.com) at that time.  Note that at this
point, it should probably be turned in to a tiny (1/2 page) fishbowl
project, and if it doesn't generate too much dissent, we'll likely put it
in.

Note that this may seem heavyweight.  For changes that have no documentation
or UI impact... things that are purely bugfixes, none of this needs to
happen.  At most, a collector issue should be filed and closed out.
