What we have now:
setup.py to build extensions and install in a decidedly
non-distutils manner. Target audience: packagers.
{w,wo}_pcgi.py to build extensions, pyc's, setup a default
Data.fs and admin user. Target audience: end-users.
What I think the "right thing" is:
An all-singing, all-dancing installation solution. Again,
that's what I started building on the installer branch.
The "right thing" can't be built for 2.6, so I'll settle for keeping
people from doing the "wrong thing" until the "right thing" exists.
