How about a separate list... and a single email that is sent each day by 
a script subscribed to the separate list that knows what test results to 
expect?

It could read:

   Subject: Zope tests, one failure

   Zope2 HEAD Python 2.3.2 Linux i386  jeremy at zope.com    OK
   Zope2 HEAD Python 2.3.2 BSD         anthony at ekit-inc.com ERRORS 
http://mailman/url
   et cetera
   et cetera

Or something like that.

If someone sets up the separate list, I'll create and run a script to do 
this.
