Doesn't that argument apply to all changes?

We can reduce the risk in two ways:

(1) Start using bitkeeper for a small project first.

(2) Find out if bitkeeper will let you retrieve all the metadata and
    old revisions; with this info we can always write a migration
    script to out next choice.
