Although I have no plans to rework the API, I still consider Docutils highly
experimental.  There is still a lot to be done, mostly in the form of
additions but I'm sure there will be some changes as well.  Thus the 0.x
version.  The focus of next release, 0.3, is the development of a Python
auto-documentation component.  I have no timetable; other things are more
pressing at the moment (see my signature).

If you choose to go ahead, I'll be happy to assist with Docutils/Zope
integration.
