[Zope-Coders] Zope 2.7 alpha - when?

[Andreas Jung]

What are the release plans for the first alpha of Zope 2.7? This alpha was
scheduled
for February and now we are in June. I think all proposed features for 2.7
are implemented
and checked into the CVS. Such a delay is not a good sign for the
community and not for companies
that are using Zope. My personal belief is that Zope 2 will have a long and
bright future since I don't
expect that it will be replaced by Zope 3 at least within the next two
years. A solid Zope 2
development is necessary if we want to reach Paul's goal to grow the Zope
by a factor of ten.
