I don't know. I ran the Zope-2_6-branch tests today on Win2K with no
failures, but I was using Python 2.2.2:
C:\Code\Zope-2_6-branch>\python22\python utilities\testrunner.py -v2 -a
Adding C:\Code\Zope-2_6-branch\lib\python to sys.path.
Test setting default roles for permissions. ... ok
hasRole is an alias for allowed, which should be unaffected. ... ok
...
check_use_fsIndex (testFileStorage.FileStorageTests) ... ok
checkfsrecover (testFileStorage.FileStorageTests) ... ok
checkCorruptedIndex (ZODB.tests.Corruption.FileStorageCorruptTests) ... ok
...
testNoExpandRoot (testTree.TreeTests) ... ok
testStateFunction (testTree.TreeTests) ... ok
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ran 1735 tests in 163.565s
OK
Offhand I don't see anything in the code that relies on 2.2 for proper
operation. I haven't tried it with Python 2.1.3 yet.
