A sensible default wouldn't hurt there. Just for example, it *is*
possible, as far as I can tell, for a Owner to add subfolders, just
not through DAV, which doesn't make sense. (eg: members can add
folders on their member folders through the zmi or cmf, but not
through webdav).

Dunno. Just that only MKCOL seems to be using Add Folders.
