I've install all of the Beta versions of 2.7.0, as well as RC1 & RC2.  I haven't experienced this problem since B2.  I looks as though this Issue can be closed.

I install Zope Version 2.7.0-b2 on a Windows 2K machine.  Towards the end of the installation I experienced the following error:

"The procedure entry point ?PyWinObject_FromSECURITY_DESCRIPTOR@@YAPAU_object@@PAX at Z could not be located in the dynamic link library PyWinTypes22.dll"

As a result of this error the install failed to install the Zope Instance Service.  I manually installed the service, but experienced the same error each time I tried to start the service.  Prior to fixing the problem, I was able to start Zope via the manual command-line method.

This machine also has Python22 (V2.2.3) installed along with Win32 extensions.  I compared the versions of the PyWinTypes22.dll in the Zope install to the version install by Win32 extensions.  Zope installed V2.1.0.152 and Win32 install V2.1.0.156.  I replaced the older DLL with the newer and all of the problems disappeared.
