The complex_marshal method of ZTUtils doesn't properly handle lists in records (e.g. param.key:date:list:record), which is valid in zope.  This results in some problems with plone batching on search forms with complex input (http://members.plone.org/collector/4502).  I have attached a patch which processes lists when contained in records.
