isectZope (Interbase/Firebird RDMS) version 0.0.2 released. Some minor bug=
fixes along with a proposal to incorporate database replication (see=
Future.txt inside the archive for more details) for increased scalability=
at large sites which I wouldn't mind some feedback on.
isectZope is quite different from other adapters as it is based on the=
message oriented middleware daemon Isectd, rather than connecting directly=
to the database API. I have found isectZope runs between 3 to 4 times as=
fast as traditional database adapters when the database and Zope reside on=
different machines. When they are on the same machine isectZope's=
performance is equivalent to a traditional adapter.
