Then it is of very little interest, but we may for a period be forced to 
use it. We wish to release our product under a Open Source license which 
will conflict with the egenix Commercial License.

IMHO Zope.com or the community should supply an ODBC driver released 
under an Open Source license. ZOPE without rocksolid DAs is like taking 
a bath without any water. :)

We would like to talk part in the development of Open Source DAs for Zope.
