The stored procedures aren't doing anything "weird", python would crash with any stored proc. I tried installing Zope on a Linux box (now with DCOracle 1.3b), and received segmentation faults when I attempted to edit any stored proc. I then tried using another oracle user that was not the owner of any stored procs or packages. That second user was able to create dcoracle2 stored procedures using stored procedures from the first user's schema. The only problem was that when editing the dcoracle2 stored procedure, the second user had no known user-defined procedures, so the edit would fail because the drop down was empty. I added a stored procedure to the second user's schema to get around this. I experienced a segmentation fault again when I added a package containing a procedure to the second user's schema and then tried to edit a dcoracle2 stored procedure. Has anyone experienced any problems with packages containing procedures? Thanks, Eric

on UNIX (I get segfaults). This is usually when the stored
procedures I am using are returning "weird" things. SPs
with IN/OUT parameters are weird, as is 9i's XML_TYPE.

Is your SP doing anything funny that my be confusing
DCOracle2?

I am running Zope 2.6.1 on a Windows 2000 box, using DCOracle2 1.2 to connect to a Oracle 8.1.7 DB on a linux box. I am able to create and edit a Z Oracle DB Connection, as well as create and execute Z SQL methods. I can also create Z Oracle Stored Procedures, but once I click on them to edit them, python.exe crashes with: Application Error: The instruction "0x60497621" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read". This happens on 2 different 2000 machines running Zope. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks, Eric
