A string "0" can compare in a surprising way with an integer "0".

Note that all values passed via HTTP are strings by default.
You have to use "converters" (see the "ZPublisher" section in

  <http://www.dieter.handshake.de/pyprojects/zope/book/chap3.html>

) to convert them to something else.
