[Zope-dev] Performance?

A friend (owner of the site where we will plug our Zope
machine) has being conducting some benchmarks and found
Zope+Apache to be a lot faster than Zope-z2. Why? Is there any
way to improve it? Is there any other webserver that is not so
much of a pain to configure and overkill to run, that can make
Zope run faster?

Hmm... this should be on zope, not zope-dev :-) let's fix it:

Is there anything we can do to improve z2? Or to make Zope work
nicely with one of the ``lightspeed'' webservers such as boa?
