OK, the code around this is:
    def __repr__(self):
        return ("<%s %s at 0x%s>"
                % (self.__class__.__name__, `self.id()`, hex(id(self))[2:]))

I'm betting self.id isn't a methodm hence your error.
That said, I dont' really see the point of this whole __repr__ method, maybe try
removing it completely?
