Bob's original design made gvibDA use ThunkedTM

So I believe it is serialized.

I think the reason for using Thunked was because under Windows, gds is not truly 
multi-threaded and dies.

I do not recall exactly what the story is.. You're welcome to try it without the Thunked 
Mixin.
