Philippe Beaumont (mostly) and I just finished a product called 
ZSQLCatalog. It allows to query the Zope Catalog with SQL methods and find 
objects in the ZODB with complex queries in SQL.

It is still  a proof of concept but should improve a lot and very quickly.
