I think that assesment is mostly right. It's definately right on the=20
ZPT part. As ChrisW mentioned, DTML wasn't really sure about where it=20
sat at the family dinner table.
ZPT is best used by the Dreamweaver crowd, and frankly, from within=20
tools like Dreamweaver. It is pretty verbose for being used TTW (but=20
the TTW environment could be improved over time to help on this, e.g. w/=20
a colorizing/editable DIV or textarea).
FWIW, the ZPT list is discussing a proposal now for moving the=20
programming in ZPT out of the "HTML" page and into...CSS! It's a really=20
interesting proposal, IMO. It might address some of the concerns=20
mentioned here, about verbosity, scanning the page looking for=20
programming etc. And it is sure to raise some new concerns. :^)
