If the only difference is running under Python 2.5 instead of 2.4, then 
I don't have any ideas.  I just tested 2.4 and 2.5 on Linux and both 
worked fine.

If you want to investigate, the place to start is in 
zope/testing/testrunner.py at line 2417.
