If you want a chapter on NEO (http://www.neoppod.org/) or book review, let us know, we can write or help. NEO is probably the fastest and most scalable storage for ZODB. We also have lots of benchmarks (we use ZODB for huge transactional banking applications and for the largest CRM operation  in Ireland).
