The problem is

http://python-distribute.org/distribute_setup.py

has still

DEFAULT_VERSION = "0.6.39"

that breaks bootstrap.py, as in

https://bitbucket.org/tarek/distribute/issue/376/distribute-0639-broke-zcbuildout-210
