I checked in a small fix for DT_In.py:

- Fix for Collector issue 1967; test for the type of an object, not for the
  object itself (merge from trunk).

With this fix I am quite sure that the "What's new" feature that has been
disabled for now, can be resurrected again. Could someone with access to
the Zope.org servers update the Zope 2.3 source so I can verify this?
