I searched high and low when Brian thought this was the case - nothing 
to be found.  Jens instists zope.org never relied on queued catalogs.  I 
don't have the cycles to go dig more atm - but I'll speak to him again 
over the weekend.  Who else would know?  Jefferey maybe?
