There is no "source", it's a hard coded list. Hence my request for 
people with grand ideas to provide code as well as words.

I think a user-manageable bookmarks section with some sensible defaults 
adhering to the policy I've proposed would make sense, but requires more 
work than I can volunteer, and more work than anyone else seems prepared 
to do...
