[Zope] - alter the default public interface?

Hi, joining the list!    Hello to all.

When adding a folder, the default is to create as a public interface the
viewable file index.html.

Is it possible to alter the default, so that my version is created each
time?   Also it would be handy if the cursor could be at my chosen
location on that page instead of having to activate the page with the
mouse as at present.
