[Zope] Performance of webserver?

Hi,

One of the last questions for now, I'd like to know the
answer for is:

What is the performance of the webserver in Zope 2?
I'd like to compare to Apache on Linux (our Zope will be
running on one of these).

HW is PII400 and 256MB RAM.

Can the webserver be used in productionenvironment?
How much load can it take compared to Apache before I need
to upgrade hw? The same? Half? Double?

I ask because if an upgrade will be impending due to the
performance of Zope's webserver, then I might as well go the
Apache way now. I'd like to spare that effort, though.
