Some nebulous number that I can invent for your statistical pleasure. Quite
honestly you've asked a question which has no answer. Zope2 is slower. But
not if you compare CGI v. Zope. Zope2 is a 100% dynamic page generation
situation, whereas Apache is only serving static pages. So if you're site
is 100% static, use Apache, but as it gets more dynamic, I think you'll find
Zope2 to be faster and faster. Performance on a "mid size" Linux box would
be 35-50 hits/second (which translates to 3.8M hits/day).

The only benchmark that matters is your own application.
