[Zope] Newbie confusion

Barbara,
Zope is probably trying to resolve your computername with a reverse DNS
lookup, that's why it wants to connect to the Internet every time you
start it.. If you add your own IP address and your own hostname to your
c:\windows\hosts file, it may stop. It may not, however :-)
An alternate solution would be to turn off "autoconnection" to the
Internet. It may take longer to start Zope but it should still start...
