[Zope] I'm having a problem with ./start of ZServer on my machine....

The way we set up the Zope directory is that we set everything to user
nobody so in your case
chown -R nobody:nobody /root/shop/Zope-2.1.1-linux2-x86
and make sure that the /root/shop/Zope-2.1.1-linux2-x86/var is writable by
nobody
That should solve the permission issues since the server runs as nobody (I
assume)
