[Zope] uploading documents to Zope

Hi,

I tired with clicking on 6 different icons to upload a dtml-file which I
edited on my local machine. Since I'm not using Zope 2.0 ftp is not an
option. I'm thinking of writing a python-script, which does the same as
the Netscape-Composer publish-method. I checked urllib.py, but found only
examples for retrieving files from the server, same for httplib.py.
Could someone point me to documentation how to do this, or is this not
possible or to difficult at all?
