What version of Zope are you using?
Did you get any error messages?
When you say you can no longer manage the server, what do you mean?
What error messages did you get?
Do you have a Data.bbb.old file? You should be able to use it.
Try getting rid of your Data.bbb.index.
How did you reload the Data.bbb file?
