sorry we didn't know the d.c. blurb about beehive was already
online. 

the dynamic gif generator is a commercial zope product just like
d.c.'s  ZTable software. tomorrow i'll have screenshots up and if
your interested i can set up an account on our zope server where 
you can test the product.

here is how it works:

- upload a background (must be .gif)
- upload a true type font
- add a dynamic gif tag to your document

example:

Welcome back <!--#var AUTHENTICATED_USER-->! 
<!--#/dynagif--> 

using the background image and the truetype font that you 
uploaded it will generate a new (dynamic) gif using
the text or DTML tags included in the <!--#dynagif-->
tag.

this product is currently only availible for linux.
