Well, I know quite a few people at Vignette (they're in my home town), and
interesting had a 3 hour discussion with one of their larger customers when
I was flying back from SFO this weekend...

o Performance in NON-cache mode

o Real personalization issues (I was told they have little more than a rough
framework that pales compared to ZClasses even)

o Cost :-) I know for a fact that only one or two people have ever bought
Vignette without a lot of consulting. Average deployment is around $500K-1M
and a first strike is $150-200K.

o Flexibility. There's nothing anywhere near acquisition in Vignette, and
not even close.

o Delegation of authority (a'la our security model).

o Security Model. They didn't want to talk about it when I asked them at
one of their presentations. This scares me.
